In October 2005 I had cabinets built and installed by Ken Maloney of A Cut Above Cabinetry, LLC, located in Keenesburg, Colorado. Prior to remodeling our kitchen we decided to check Tom Martino’s referral list since we have used it before. We found A Cut Above Cabinetry, LLC and contacted Ken Maloney. 

Mr. Maloney was a great help. When we first contacted him we weren't sure what our options were. We had no idea what the project might cost, and we weren't quite sure if we were going to get everything we wanted because of the layout of our kitchen. Mr. Maloney was prompt in returning our call. He came to our home and discussed our wants and needs with us. I was very impressed with the way he listened. He was patient and wanted to make sure we got what we wanted. Before we made our decision we asked Mr. Maloney if we could see some of his work. He invited us to his shop where we viewed other projects he was working on. We were very impressed with the quality of his work.

A Cut Above Cabinetry, LLC wasn't’t the only company we contacted. We contacted four other companies, and found that they weren’t nearly as professional. Mr. Maloney was already working on our cabinets by the time some of them got back to us. He showed his professionalism in sticking with his original estimate, and we had no “surprise” charges upon completion. The cabinets were completed on the date agreed upon, and the installation went very smooth. 

Our cabinets are beautiful, and we have received endless positive comments. I highly recommend A Cut Above Cabinetry, LLC to anyone who needs cabinetry.

I want to thank you and your company for performing a stellar job on designing, building and installing our kitchen.   As a cabinet maker myself, I had a lot of special ideas I wanted incorporated into our kitchen.   Ken, you were very receptive to my ideas during the design phase and your ideas, along with your attention to detail, certainly made the kitchen come together the way I envisioned.  The expertise and flexibility you provided allowed some very nice customizations to make this a unique one of a kind kitchen.   We will enjoy those special details for years to come.  The flexible method you used by charging an hourly rate during installation was well worth it.   This allowed me to get the extra help I needed with the appliance installation and extra modifications necessary to complete the job.   The electrician you used also did a great job moving electrical and modifying lighting to suit the new kitchen layout.   I look forward to having you over to see the final product after we select our granite and have the tops installed.

Ken Maloney made my ideas a reality. He was easy to work with and had great input on my project. His custom cabinetry work is beautiful and sound. We recently had Ken install Cherry Cabinets, and we couldn't be happier. We had been looking around for cabinets at the local stores, but found we could get custom made cherry wood cabinets at a better price than anything we had seen. He added AVONITE solid surface countertops in a light pebble that compliments the cabinets. We added some fancy tile work and stainless steel appliances to complete the kitchen and everyone that see the kitchen tells us how beautiful it is. We are now just sitting back and enjoying the fruits of his labor.
